Social Responsibility

Gantek; aims to contribute to the strength of its customers with the business areas it serves in the IT sector, which benefits the economy. In line with this goal, it argues that success in the professional field is only possible with a high sense of social responsibility, sensitivity, and taking actions on social problems. Gantek carries out the social responsibility activities it has shaped with this understanding and supports many non-governmental organizations, especially the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV), Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG), Contemporary Life Support Foundation, Street Children Rehabilitation Center and Mehmetçik Foundation.

Support to 340 university students with the "Give Education Way" campaign…

Competing for Community Volunteer youth with Anadol A1 in the Beijing-Paris Rally, the world's oldest automobile race, Gantek Teknoloji Chairman of the Board Ahmet Şefik Öngün and his teammate Erdal Tokcan brought the second trophy to Turkey.

The Anadol A1, with chassis number 371 produced by OTOSAN in 1967, participated in the world's oldest classic car rally, the first of which was held in 1907, and competed in the category of "classics" consisting of 1960 model vehicles and achieved great success as the 2nd place at the end of a 15 thousand kilometer journey.

Ahmet Şefik Öngün and Erdal Tokcan, the first Turkish team to participate in the Beijing-Paris Rally, turned this race into a social responsibility and transferred all the income and donations from the sponsors supporting the team to the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG). Three hundred forty university students were provided scholarships throughout their university education with the "Give Education Way" campaign, which started with "Champion of Hearts Anadol" traveling from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

 

12 Years of Good Journey

German Business Person Gerd Buhler took the wheel and traveled 12 thousand kilometers in the South America Rally, in which Gantek Chairman of the Board Ahmet Şefik Öngün led the way to support the needs of the youth.

Departing from Peru on October 22, Gerd Buhler competed on behalf of the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) in this challenging 12 thousand-kilometer race, in which 45 vehicles raced, and finished the race with 3rd place. 2.8 million TL collected from sponsors during the rally campaign was donated to meet the 4-year educational needs of 200 young people on the 20th anniversary of the Community Volunteers Foundation.
